Facades
Jobcenter Arbeitplus

About the project
The very first building in the new quarter of Bielefeld "Quartier No. 1" is a six-story complex that houses the Jobcenter Arbeitplus employment agency. According to the plans of the architectural bureau Gabrysch, the unusually shaped building received a light facade: about 4000 m² of Jura Limestone, rough grinding C60 with a thickness of 3 cm. A large part of the slabs is secured with anchors with pre-drilled holes in the slabs, and most slabs have visible ground edges. Facade slabs made of natural Jura marble Jura Cream were secured to special agraffes using metal anchors.
